Novice Shamrock edged by Eagles
The Novice Shamrock Southwest Bullets sponsored by the Glencoe Lions club played one of their better games this past Sunday.

Excitement filled the fans in periods one, two and three.
Each and every Bullets player came out skating hard and fast in the first period and their hard work paid off when Brad McAlpine scored on a nice feed from Will Lambrecht and Noble Stonefish. The Bullets continued their fantastic play in the second with goalie Tristan Hauspie leading the team by making some superb saves to hold the Eagles at bay. McAlpine managed to notch another one to give the Bullets a 2-0 lead after two periods.
It appeared the Bullets were going to take this game until half way through the third period when the Eagles started to soar scoring 4 unanswered goals in the late minutes taking the win 4-2. The Bullets played one of their strongest games of the year even though a few players recently came off the disabled list with the flu bug having gone through the dressing room. Jackson Caron and Allison Cuthbert stepped up to fill in and skate hard where needed. Each player put forth their best effort – and we look forward to more games with parents sitting on the edge of their seats! Mr. Big winner was Brad McAlpine.

Their next game will be against the North Middlesex Jr. Stars on Saturday, December 22nd in Parkhill.
