Friday night the Glencoe Lions club Hosted the West Lorne comets in Bothwell their first  of 4 games against them.

With most of the play in the Bullets end for first two periods The Comets opened the score up at the 10 minute mark of the second period. At the 6:22 mark of the second period Kelvin Huston even the scoreboard up with the first goal for the Bullets assisted by Brad McAlpine and Jaxon Aubertin.  The second period deadlocked at one a piece

Into the third period at the 10:57 marker Will Lambrecht finished off a pass fed out front to him by Huston also assisted by Noble Stonefish. Comets with their determination  were not going to let the lead stay for long. In a scramble in front of the net it was all Devin Graham could do in stopping the first four shots on net, but the fifth one finally slip past the steadfast goalie. The games was now notched at two a piece. 8:09 in the third the comets were called for slashing which put the Bullets ready to fire on their power play. Which took all of 20 seconds to convert their power play into another notch on the score board to put the Bullets ahead. McAlpine scoring his first of the game assisted by John Van Bilsen. After the third goal it seem like the Bullets found their legs and really started to out work the comets. Another 20 seconds later McAlpine scored his second goal on the same shift assisted by Wyatt Johnson. With the Bullets confidence showing on the ice the play was being dominated in the West Lorne end. At the 5:41 McAlpine notched the natural hat trick from a pass from Evan DeMaiter. Final score Bullets 5 Comets 2

"Mr Big" Winner was Evan DeMaiter for his strong defensive play.
