Southwest Bullets Pee Wee Shamrock Look To Step It Up Next Weekend
Despite a solid effort and aggressive edge, Southwest Bullets Pee Wee shamrock team sponsored by the Glencoe Legion, Came up short in Sunday's game versus Thamesford.
The Bullets started quickly and held a distinct advantage in territory and speed. They had several chances to open the scoring throughout the first period. Unfortunately Thamesford got on the board first with just under two minutes left to play in the period. Jack McAlpine tied it up two minutes into the second Period. Jordan Cronin got the lone assist. Thamesford answered with another goal near the end of the second period. Despite solid goaltending by Jacob Moore, Thamesford extended their lead to a final score of 5-1.
The Bullets look to redeem themselves over the Thanksgiving weekend, Next game is an Away game- Saturday Oct. 12th at 1:40 pm in Dresden. On Sunday at home in Glencoe Oct. 13th vs Blenheim at 4:10pm.
