Midget Rep team back home for game 5 in OMHA Finals!!
The Southwest Bullets Midget Rep Team sponsored by Allan Heating continue OMHA Finals!
The team travelled to Douro this past Friday and Saturday to continue their series in the OMHA Finals. Heading into the weekend the series was tied at 1 game a piece.
The boys came out flying on Friday resulting in a scoreless first period. They continued to do so in the second but ran into penalty troubles for the remainder of the game resulting in a 3 to 1 loss in this hard fought battle.
Heading into Saturday's game the boys found themselves in a "do or die" situation as a win was a must in this 6 point series. The team came out flying once again and continued to do so for the remainder of the game. With great scoring opportunities both ways neither team could solve the goaltenders as the game remained scoreless after 3 periods of play. The Overtime matched the rest of the game with great scoring chances but both teams unable to find the mesh resulting in a 0-0 score.
The team now faces the Douro Dukes in game 5 today Sunday March 29th in Glencoe at 5:50. Please come out and show your support for the local boys!!
