Juveniles in 1st round of OMHA
Our Juveniles are off to a great start in the first round of OMHA.  We start the playoffs  with Norwich Nighthawks and are currently up 2 games to none in our best of 5 series.  The first game at home saw us go up 4-1 before Norwich started to scratch back and made it very close at 4-3 before we were able to pop in the clincher and make it a 5-3 win.

Then we went to Norwich for game 2 where the home team jumped on the scoreboard first with a goal mid way into the 2nd period.   We evened it up soon after and went in for a break knotted at 1 goal after 2 periods.  It was a high energy game with some big hits and each team receiving a game suspension.  With 6 minutes left we scored the go ahead goal and then each side had some penalties.  The Bullets were down with 2 minor penalties for a short time late in the third but our boys stood strong and our goalie Dave Given kept the puck out.  We ended up with a couple of empty net goals and went home with a 4-1 win.  Special mention goes to Matt Brennan who has a hat trick in each of the last 2 games.  Thanks to all the fans that travelled to Norwich to support the team.

Next game is back home on Sunday Feb. 1st at 7:30pm
