Look at these Beauties!  Novice Rep excel at 2017-18 Parkhill Regional #SilverStick tournament

These boys and girls represented Southwest Bullets very well this week. They played an amazing 4 games to finish with 1 win, 1 tie and 2 losses.

They opened the tournament with a 2-1 win over Six Nations.  The game looked like it was going to finish in a tie but the Bullet’s hard work was rewarded with a late third period goal that clinched the victory.

In an early morning match, the Bullets absolutely stunned the Belmont Ranger. Despite dominating the play, Belmont was able to get 2 goals past the Bullets to take the game 2-0.

In the second game of the day, the Bullets faced the North Middlesex Jr Stars. The Jr Stars managed to get a 2 goal lead but the Bullets never gave up and battle back with 2 third period goals for a 2-2 tie.

In the final game, the Bullets played East Lambton Eagles. Fans were kept on the edge of their seats as the Bullets put on a strong offensive and defensive display. The Bullets allowed a late first period goal that proved to be the winner, in a 1-0 loss. They came close to tying it up on several occasions but just couldn’t get the puck past the opposing goaltender.

The coaching staff are very proud of the team’s effort this week. Every player elevated their game to levels not seen before. We now look ahead to playdowns with a whole new perspective. Keep up the great work team!
