Submitted By wdewild on Monday, January 5, 2015
Congratulations to the Southwest Bullets Midget Rep team for bringing home the Championship banner at the Earle Travail Regional Silver Stick tournament in Petrolia!!

The midgets won their first game against Petrolia AE 5-3, then beat Aylmer 4-1 to move on to Lucan.  They lost to Lucan by a score of 4-1 and had to play again that night against Belmont.  They won a spirited, heavy hitting game 2-1 to move on to the C Final and face the undefeated Lucan team.  The Bullets handed Lucan their first loss of the tournament on New Year’s Day with a 4-3 win in a very close game.  The 2 same teams met again the following day and battled back and forth all game that found the score tied after regulation play.  Finally, 9 seconds after the puck dropped in the third overtime period, Noah Rabideau roofed a beauty to win it for the Bullets.

Congrats to all the players and the coaching staff of Alan Feasey, Jamie Welch, Jeff Tidball and Mark Ramsey.  This is the 3rd year in the row our Midget Rep team has brought home the hardware as Champions of this tournament.

Next for the midgets is the International Silver Stick tourney held in Forest.  It starts next weekend  and runs Jan 9-11th
