WARM VIEWING AREA:
The SWM Facility & Recreation Team strive to make your visit to Glencoe Memorial Arena a positive experience. We pride ourselves in offering one of the best quality ice surfaces around, along with a clean facility. We understand that not all fans are comfortable watching from the stands and in that regard the 2nd floor auditorium is normally available for viewing, upon your request. Simply ask the arena staff if the auditorium is available (not booked) and they will be happy to unlock the 2nd floor for you, and will turn on the elevator when required.
Due to safety and supervision concerns we do not leave the auditorium open/unlocked at all times – we want to avoid youngsters running up and down the stairs – as that alone is a huge safety concern. As well, we do not want the auditorium to become an unsupervised playground for kids who may have little interest in watching their siblings on the ice.
