Coaches and Bench Staff Applications for 2016-2017
Southwest Minor Hockey association will be accepting applications for Coaching AND Bench Staff for the 2016-2017 season online this year. The form can be found under the coaches tab on the main website.
Coaches Applications will be accepted until April 1, 2016 online. Special circumstances can be arranged in person with our current coaches convener Kurt Lovell prior to that date. Kurt can be reached at 519-287-3545 (h) 519-287-3813 (w) 519-318-0985 (c).
Bench staff applications will be accepted for a reasonable period after coaches have been assigned, at the discretion of the board and coaches convener.
New this year, ALL BENCH STAFF will be required to apply for consideration. While SMHA reserves the right to decline and-or assign coaches and bench staff, coaches will be generally be looked to to ensure their staff is filled and all applicants have applied.
BENCH STAFF who do not submit application cannot be added to Rosters.
It is anticipated that coaches will be assigned very quickly after SMHA annual general meeting which will take place mid-april (stay tuned to website for addition of this event). The plan is to have all shamrock coaches in-place end of June and Local Leauge coaches in-place before season starts or sooner.
