Interested in becoming a Referee? Now is your chance!!

SWMHA is looking for those people who want take that next step from refereeing in the stands to refereeing on the ice. Enjoy the game at ice level whilst making some extra $$$. Upcoming courses are being offered this summer. The Southwest bullets even help subsidize the cost of the course. Click on the link for more info and to register for a course.

This years school will be on the weekend of September 21, 22 and 23, 2018 at the Holiday inn & Suites Ambassador Bridge, on Huron Church Road in Windsor. The cost for each participant is $330.00 and this covers 2 nights stay in the hotel, 6 meals (plus snacks), 13 hours classroom instruction, 3.5 hours of on ice instruction, plus rule books, crests, other essentials and some type of gift (helmet, ref sweater, visor or ref bag) that the school gets for the kids. The check in starts at 4:30pm on the Friday, and once they are registered and checked into their room, they are with us for the weekend.   The participants must be born in either 2001, 2002 or 2003 to participate.   All individuals wishing to attend must get a Police record Check for their local Police Service and have that ready to hand in on September 21st.
