Please read the attached letter regarding the 28-day shut down.

December 23, 2020

Southwest Bullets Minor Hockey Families:

With the recent Government of Ontario mandated 28-day shut down, along with the closure of the recreation facilities, Southwest Minor Hockey is halting our program during this time. The Southwest Minor Hockey Board would like to thank all players, coaches, parents and families for being understanding and following the rules that were handed to us to allow the players to be able to get on the ice. There has been zero health issues directly or indirectly associated with our operations. Above all these changes and setbacks, I know the kids looked forward to coming to the arena to play hockey. We know that sport and activity is important for their physical and mental health.

The board wants to make certain that our players and families know that when we are given the green light to resume we will be ready to go. We will be working with the local municipalities on when the facilities will be ready for us. We cannot foresee what our program will look like but we will be prepared to offer something that will have an emphasis on getting the kids active and having fun.

We encourage you to check our website regularly, as this will be updated with the latest information regarding our restart.

Sincerely,

Southwest Minor Hockey Board
