Hello all - here is some info about Strathroy tourny....
We are in a Seven Team Division with
- Strathroy Rockets Blue
- Strathroy Rockets Red
- East Lambton Eagles
- Ilderton Jets Blue
- Ilderton Jets White
- North Middlesex Jr Stars
- Southwest Bullets
Seven Team Division - Rules:
Your first game decides if you are competing on the Championship side or on the Consolation side. Championship side works on a points system, round robin format. Two points per period and 4 points for a win. One point each for tied periods. Gold, Silver and Bronze will be decided by the total accumulated points from your three games. Awards will take place following the last game. In the event of tied points at the end of the series the same tie breakers will be used as in Six Team Division. The Consolation side with four teams will play a second game to determine if they will play for the Gold - Silver game or the Bronze game.
We play at 1:00pm on Thursday Dec 27
If we lose that game then we are in the consolation side and play at 3:30 on Saturday Dec 29
We would then play again on Sunday at 9:30 or 10:30
If we win the first game then we are in the champion side play at 4:30 on Saturday December 29
We would then play on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:00 and then possibly again at 1:00 in the championship game.
So we have Friday and Saturday Morning off and are done by 1:00pm worst case on Sunday.
