This was the Bullets fifth game in OMHA round robin play and their first against Thamesford

With both teams with similar records in league play it was sure to be an exciting game. Southwest started the scoring with a early goal 50 seconds in with Brad McAlpine putting one past the Attack goalie assisted by John Van Bilsen. Thamesford not to be outdone evened it up one minute later. Thamesford took the lead with 53 seconds left in the first to have a 2-1 lead over the Bullets. On a two on one play Jaxon Aubertin had a nifty shot towards the goal which fooled the defenseman and the goalie to even the score up assist went to Van Bilsen and McAlpine. Thamesford would score two more in the second to make the score 4-2 . At the 1:05 of the second McAlpine closed the gap to a one goal lead for Thamesford. Until 30 seconds later Thamesford opened the gap of two again. The second period finished with the Attack 5 Bullets 3. The third period was all Bullets their team play and hard work was going to pay off. With Wyatt Johnson going to the net proved to be the right thing to do as he put one past the Thamesford Goalie, assist going to McAlpine and Will Lambrecht. To narrow the score to a 5-4 margin for Thamesford. The hard work of the Bullets and their domination of play in the Thamesford zone at 4:08 McAlpine got his hat trick to even the score up assists going Morgan “The Pit-bull” Hutson and Van Bilsen. With one minute remaining the Bullets ended up getting called for a tripping penalty at the Southwest blue line thus stopping a breakaway by the Attack. With the Attack on the man advantage the Bullets were able to keep the Attack at bay and hold on for the tie until the end of game with a 5-5 finish

“Mr Big winners were Brad McAlpine and Noble Stonefish.
