To narrow the score to a 5-4 margin for Thamesford. The hard work of the Bullets and their domination of play in the Thamesford zone at 4:08 McAlpine got his hat trick to even the score up assists going Morgan “The Pit-bull” Hutson and Van Bilsen. With one minute remaining the Bullets ended up getting called for a tripping penalty at the Southwest blue line thus stopping a breakaway by the Attack. With the Attack on the man advantage the Bullets were able to keep the Attack at bay and hold on for the tie until the end of game with a 5-5 finish
