In the second period speedsters Brad Mcalpine and John Van Bilsen each scored a goal by going wide around the Comet defence and firing them past the Comet goalie. Assists on their goals went to Kelvin Huston(2) and Will Lambrecht. Before the second period ended McAlpine buried another on a feed by Aubertin to give the Bullets a commanding 4-1 lead after two.
