Novice Shamrock Downed By Sabres
The Glencoe Lions Novice Shamrock Bullets played the top team in the league this Sunday past
, and although they couldn’t pull out an upset, the team played real well battling hard for all three periods. The defence pairs of John Van Bilsen-Morgan Hutson and Noble Stonefish-Evan Demaiter along with goalie Devin Graham did a great job to keep the Sabres offence in check as best they could. The Sabres passing plays were just too much to handle however, giving them the win in the end. Brad McAlpine managed to put two on the board for the Bullets with William Lambrecht getting an assist on the second goal. Slush Puppies were handed out to each tired player to reward their good effort after the game.
The Bullets next game is Sunday, December 9th in Glencoe against the Petrolia Oilers at 3:00.
