Atom Shamrock Win Third in a Row Saturday November 3rd the Atom Shamrock hockey team sponsored by Gary Graham Transport headed to Port Stanley to play the Sailors for the second time this season after losing to them earlier in league play. The Southwest Bullets came out strong and scored 45 seconds after the puck dropped at center ice.  Elijah Barnes found home behind the Sailor’s goalie with Nolan Morehouse and Jack McAlpine taking credit for the assists. With less than 2 minutes left in the period Southwest had 2 players in the penalty box and Port Stanley managed to tie the game up. The second period saw both teams score and ended on a 2-2 tie.  Goal scorer for Southwest was Ethan Carruthers with the assist going to McAlpine.

Third period action saw Southwest once again take the lead. Digging deep during a scramble in front of the Port Stanley net Charlie Pierce scored the go-ahead goal for Southwest. Helper Carruthers takes home his second point of the game. The remainder of the game saw Port Stanley fight hard for the puck but they were unable to tie the game up. Final score 3-2 for the Bullets. Standing strong between the pipes for the Southwest Bullets were Ethan Peixoto and Tyson Hesketh. Next hockey action for the team is this upcoming weekend when they play in the Black and Gold Tournament in West Lorne.
